A treat for Honeymooners' & A delight for a Family at Marina Hotel-Shimla
Explore the fascinating destination called Shimla and indulge in the

Hotel Marina…I have been to Shimla innumerable times &
this time, was really amused to stay at such a flawless & luxurious
property.
Located in the beautiful
Mall of Shimla, Hotel Marina is a boutique hotel wherein its guests are assured
of a picturesque panoramic view of the snow bound mountain ranges.

As I entered the lobby for
my check in, this beautifully & tastefully done up lobby in red with some
outrageously handing chandlers & nicely lit up candles around the lobby
awaits you. The amazing aroma in the lobby, may be coming from these candles lit or potpourri, gives your body & soul a very strong positive vibe. Oh! I loved this artwork hanging on the great wall of the lobby beneath
which there is a fire-place which will automatically catch up your eyes.

After the check in, I
entered my room, it was pure luxury, more than my exceptions. The room was
nicely done up with all you need in your living area. How can I not mention about the
bathroom, which was done in a classy & niche manner which maintained the standard of the Hotel in a small hill station (Shimla). It had a full glass wall on one side connecting
the room which was covered with a rolling curtain. If it’s a family affaire with children, the glass can be kept with the curtain on. An excellent excitement
awaits for honeymooners' too, to come & enjoy with the curtain rolled up..Well, it
is not a part of any big 5 star hotel chain yet I would grade them a 5 star,
looking all that it had to offer. It is like a hidden gem close to the
proximity of the Mall road of Shimla. One can easily walk for 5-7 mins &
reach towards the lift. I guess, elderly people can also do the walk but it might
take a little extra time.

Marina has a charm of it’s own, you can keep
exploring new things here in the lap of nature.
It’s away from the hustle bustle of the crowds of the mall yet at the heart
of the main market. Making your stay an outstanding one.

awaits you with fine hospitality, elegant ambience and delicious cuisine.
Marina takes care of your Foodies’ desires too
with a multi-cuisine restaurant “Hills Edge”. Thriving you ask for more. The
ambience of the restaurant is yet too elegant which will make you involve
totally into their delicacies. Whilst, reading the menu
card of the restaurant, I was trying to find what is not there listed on the
Menu.. but to my surprise, it had a grand variety to offer to it’s guests. Not
only this, what I felt, the top of the list was some exceptional
signature healthy foods for diet conscious. This was indeed an exception which
I have really not seen at, too many places while travelling. But, it was a surprise for me awaiting here. Awesome delicacies were
offered to us as I enjoyed my handsome seafood platter!
Now, while walking and having a round of the hotel, I peeped into their all time favourite Lounge Bar-‘’sixteen 69”. The interiors were spectacularly done in black. A huge range of alcohol displayed, ask for a peg as per your mood. Enjoy your drink with some nice music & light snacks.

To add on, more flavour to your trip & to engross in the already
intoxicated environment of Hills around you & the freshness of air.. An
open air restaurant is also here to welcome you, giving you an additional kick,
to enjoy the charm of the season with cold breeze & greenery. This is a
huge open air restaurant where a big party bash can also be thrown. This was
one of my favourite part of the hotel; the environment around you with hundreds
of green trees, the fog, the sun playing hide & seek with the clouds, the
birds chirping is so pleasing & calm that it urge’s a writer to sit back
with a cuppa hot chocolate & start brainstorming with her jigsaw thoughts
of writing a story. I really enjoyed the view from here too.

Since I had less time in hand so could
not indulge myself in their amazing Hi-End luxury Spa
“M- Spa”. This will welcome you with the ‘aroma
of magic’ as soon as you enter, leaving you forget all your tiredness & fatigue
with a feeling of exotic relaxation & ready to look forward for yet another
day.. It had a different aura to offer you, to unwind your body & soul
completely.
